Scheels

The new Scheels is 248,756 gross square feet, of which approximately 97,500 square feet is retained and repurposed from the 205,000-square-foot former Sears building. Scheels is two levels, with a pitched roof over a central clerestory space featuring skylights and windows.

The new Scheels will offer clothing and sporting goods in specialty shops for several sports. It will also have numerous special attractions including a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, a Ferris wheel, a lot of photo opportunities, a wildlife display mountain, and various games and sports simulators. Ginna’s Restaurant will serve gourmet soups and sandwiches, coffee, and their famous homemade fudge.
