RDO Equipment Company had outgrown their existing facility in Riverside, California and needed either an addition onto their existing facility or build a new building on the existing property. RLE worked through several scenarios and pricing exercises with RDO to determine that a new building would be the best and most cost-effective means to conduct business in this location. The new building would be built on the existing site, however, the existing facility had to remain operational throughout the process. The new building was constructed in several phases. RLE worked with the Contractor and the City of Riverside to ensure RDO could move into and occupy a portion of the new facility before it was completely done so that the existing facility could be torn down and the new building could be finished up. The site improvements were also phased, including new wash bay equipment with demolition and reconstruction associated with that work, new retaining walls, and a new perimeter fence. Upgrades to security fencing and employee, delivery, and customer access were also addressed.
