Thermal Imaging
During the visual observation tasks, we will utilize infrared imaging technology to provide a variety of thermographic views of the building systems. A picture says a thousand words; infrared thermography is the only diagnostic technology that lets you instantly visualize and verify thermal performance.
Infrared (IR) thermography provides the ability to obtain real-time inspection capabilities in the field. When coupled with data interpretation, it provides a means of rapid assessment of the integrity and future serviceability of a structure.
How does Thermal Imaging help?
- It can locate power lines that are at risk of overheating
- Spot loose connections or devices that are starting to fail
- Inspect sites of a possible leak, mainly through walls and pipes
- Pick up thermal performance issues from heat loss in walls of buildings, HVAC equipment, and doors and windows.
